She called a chancy over and put Fang on a stretcher. They ran into a room and a light went on. There were no windows and the door was heavy, so I couldn’t go with them. They all were small and cramped. At least five were in each cage. They were being used for lab experiments. I looked around. The keys were right there…But wait.
